Shots fired into South Bend home as children slept

SOUTH BEND, Ind. - South Bend police are investigating after a home had been shot six times, with children sleeping inside.

Police say officers arrived to the home on Fox Street around 1 a.m. Wednesday.

Officers say they found the home had been hit six times in the front door and windows. There were several people sleeping in the home, including a 14-year-old and a 2-year-old. No one was hurt.

Police say they have no description of a suspect.
