Shooting reported in Elkhart

ELKHART, Ind. -- Authorities confirm a shooting occured shortly before 9:00 p.m. Friday night in Elkhart.
According to officials the shooting took place on the 500 Block of West Marion Street.
Authrorities are still on scene at this time.
There is no current information regarding injuries or suspect description but officials say they will release it after an official report has been completed.
