Police: Woman robbed in parking lot of Eagle's Trace apartments

DOWAGIAC, Mich. -- Dowagiac Police are investigating a strong armed robbery at an apartment complex.
Dowagiac Police were called to the Eagle's Trace apartment complex, in the 29000 block of Amerihost Drive, on Sunday.
A resident said she was retrieving items from her vehicle in the parking lot when she was confronted from behind by a man.
The man grabbed her purse and ran from the scene.
Police searched the area but were unable to locate the suspect.
He is described as a black male, possibly in his 40s, 5'10" tall, heavy or stocky build wearing a dark hooded sweatshirt and dark pants.
