Part of State Road 331 to close for culvert replacement

MARSHALL COUNTY, Ind. -- A portion of State Road 331, between 9B Road and U.S. 30 near Bourbon, will close July 5th for the replacement of a culvert.

The road will be closed from 6 a.m. to 3 p.m. as crews dig out the ground that runs below the road and replace the pipe, according to the Indiana Department of Transportation.

INDOT says if you are traveling south on SR 331, you will be detoured east on U.S. 6, south on SR 19, west on U.S. 30 and back to SR 331.

If you are traveling north, you will be detoured east on U.S. 30, north on SR 19, west on U.S. 6 and back to your original route.

The road work will be rescheduled in the event of inclement weather.
