Mishawaka man sentenced for receipt of child pornography

A Mishawaka man who admitted to possessing over 35,000 images and over 4,000 videos of child pornography was sentenced to 68 months in federal prison for receipt of child pornography.
Brendan Eiler, 33, was sentenced to 58 months in prison, 5 years of supervised release and must pay $55,000 in restitution to victims of the crime.
Between March 2016 and March 2017, Eiler downloaded child pornography from the internet. He admitted to possessing 35,079 images and approximately 4,170 videos that portrayed child pornography.
