NOTRE DAME, Ind. - Tuesday night resulted in Notre Dame men's basketball losing its third straight game, falling in double overtime to Louisville.
While the Irish received a boost with senior point guard Matt Farrell returning from an ankle injury, they did lose freshman DJ Harvey in the first half.
Harvey injured his knee on a rebound and did not return to the game.
An MRI done Wednesday revealed only a bone bruise. Harvey announced on Twitter that he would miss four weeks.
Just wanted to let everybody know that I’m fine and that it’s only a bone bruise in my left knee, I’ll be out 4 weeks. Thank you for the concerns, texts and prayers??❤️ Go Irish!?

In 19 games, Harvey is only averaging 5.8 points per game. However, his impact rose following the injury to Bonzie Colson at the start of the new year.
Harvey started all five games since Colson's injury. In the four before his injury against Louisville, he increased his averages to 9 points and 5.75 rebounds per game.
