MISHAWAKA, Ind.—On Wednesday, lawmakers met with beneficiaries of Homes for Heroes.
Homes for Heroes is a national program that helps veterans, service-members, teachers and health care providers with the home buying process.
The program helps individuals qualify for savings and rebates when purchasing a home.
The organization claims to have helped close to 25,000 people save money when buying a home.
