Handful of spots open for Get Wet for a Vet’s trip to the Vietnam Memorial Wall

ST. JOSEPH COUNTY, Ind. – Eight to ten spots are open for a local nonprofit's all-expenses-paid trip to the Vietnam Memorial Wall in Washington D.C.

So far, the nonprofit Get Wet for a Vet, has already signed on 30 veterans.

The trek to Washington, D.C. will last from Aug. 2 to Aug. 5.

Get Wet for a Vet organized this opportunity as a way to pay tribute to the brave men and women who served in Vietnam.

Representatives with the group want to remind the community that family members can also nominate their veteran relatives for the trip.
