Hums Elementary School will be closed on Tuesday due to flooding

MISHAWAKA, Ind. – Hums Elementary School will be closed Tuesday due to flooding caused by Monday evening's heavy rainfall.
The School City of Mishawaka posted the announcement on their website:
The heavy rainfall that occurred between 3:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m. has led to flooding in the building, creating a potentially unsafe and unsuitable learning environment for students and staff. School is scheduled to resume on Wednesday, September 5, 2018.
