Four arrested after meth turns up in search

LAGRANGE, Ind. – Four people were put behind bars Thursday night after police report finding a substance that tested positive for methamphetamine.

According to the LaGrange Marshals Office, LaGrange Police responded to a home on the 300 block of Stuben Street due to multiple 911 hang ups.

When officers arrived, they reported spotting drug paraphernalia in plain view. Officer obtained a search warrant on the home.

Police say the search uncovered paraphernalia, a hypodermic needle, and multiple plastic baggies that contained a white powdery substance that tested positive for meth.

These people were booked into the LaGrange County Jail in connection to the investigation:

  • Landi Hammond of LaGrange: Possession of methamphetamine, possession of paraphernalia, maintaining a common nuisance, and possession of a hypodermic needle
  • Michael Hoff of Howe: Visiting a common nuisance
  • Bonnie Hoff of Howe: Visiting a common nuisance
  • Valerie Mettler of LaGrange: Visiting a common nuisance
