OLATHE, Kan. – Ouchihuahua! A foster family’s Chihuahua delivered 11 puppies on Monday.
“Mama Dog” was rescued by the Kansas-based Unleashed Animal Rescue group, from a hoarding situation.
Josie Brown, Mama’s temporary foster, said all 11 puppies were born surprisingly born healthy.
The house will be puppy-crazy for a couple of weeks.
“Mama Dog is a wonderful, attentive, and protective mother. I mean it’s not the hardest thing in the world to do – to love on puppies.” Brown said.
Unleashed Animal Rescue stated the puppies will be available for adoption in about three months.
