GRANGER, Ind. – The fitness studio “B Present” in Granger is holding a charity event for the homeless with the help of a barre boxing class.
The event takes place on Sunday Nov. 18 and 100 percent of the proceeds will be donated to the Center for the Homeless in South Bend.
This will be the second year B Present has held the event and it is for men and women of all levels of fitness to attend.
This is B Presents way of gathering people in the community to promote health lifestyles, while allowing them to help out the local homeless population.
"The holiday time especially we can get so wrapped up in our to-do list and our stresses in baking the pumpkin pie and getting all of the gifts and I really am a firm believer in thinking of other people,” said Tammy Weisweaver, Co-owner of B Present Studio.
Tickets to the event cost $25 and those who want to join can sign up online.
