SOUTH BEND, Ind. – Emergency crews responded to a fire involving two large structures near Michigan Street and Dubail Avenue in South Bend.
According to South Bend Fire officials, there were no injuries.
There were six fire companies, two ladders, and a rescue unit working to put out the fire.
The South Bend Fire Department said once multiple companies arrived to the scene, they decided to be defensive because of the amount of fire.
Officials said the building is a total loss.
The fire and smoke could be seen from miles away.
Crews will investigate the cause of the fire once the hot spots are out and smoke is gone.
