SOUTH BEND, Ind.- 34-year-old Tommy Love, the suspect in the fatal stabbing at Patrick Metals, is being charged with voluntary manslaughter for the death of 37-year-old Aaron Woods Jr.
Court documents say an altercation between the two caused the stabbing. Love is set for court on Thursday, for a bail hearing and arraignment.
ABC57 spoke with management at Patrick Metals; they say right now is a tough time because Woods was a personal friend.
ABC57 also reached out to the victim’s family even tried to get Tommy Love’s family or friends to share their thoughts.
Investigators say one of Woods’ co-workers, Tommy Love, stabbed him to death at his work place.
Woods’ family says he was a husband, son, father, grandfather, and friend. He was calm and collected with a heart of gold.
The family sent ABC57 this statement.
Love is being held here at the St. Joe County Jail on a $100,000 bond.
