In the wake of loud storms there are some areas of flooding after up to 2" of rain fell in less than two hours. Also numerous power outages, caused by gusty wind and lightning. The humidity stays high Monday night and slowly drops Tuesday.
Storm threat this evening between 6 PM and 11 PM. A upper level wave will help storms develop quickly this evening in our muggy environment. Heavy rain and strong wind top the list of threats this evening. Showers may linger overnight into early Tuesday.
A few isolated showers are still possibly Tuesday as the humidity gradually subsides into Wednesday. The midweek is fair and less humid with highs in the low to mid 80s. Another chance of rain turns by Friday with scattered showers or storms.
Tonight: Thunderstorms likely, some strong to severe, showers overnight, low 70.
Tuesday: Partly cloudy, isolated showers / storms . High near 82.
Wednesday: Mostly sunny, highs in the low 80s.
