Deputies identify teen found unresponsive in Lake Wawasee

KOSCIUSKO COUNTY, Ind. -- The Kosciusko County Sheriff's Department is investigating a possible drowning on Lake Wawasee that happened Friday evening just before midnight.
The child's mother noticed her autistic child, 13-year-old Christopher Dixon, was missing just before midnight.
She called police while her husband began searching for Christopher.
After approximately 30 minutes, Christopher was located in Lake Wawasee unresponsive.
Emergency personnel performed CPR, but their efforts were unsuccessful.
The Kosciusko County Coroner's Office pronounced Christopher dead at the scene.
