INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. - Few high school athletic accomplishments match up with a state championship in Indiana basketball.
Now, Culver Military Academy can claim that accomplishment for the first time.
The Eagles captured the 3A state championship with a 64-49 victory over Evansville Bosse, the first title for the Academy in any sport.
CMA used a big first-half run to take a commanding 30-8 lead over the Bulldogs, led by junior Ethan Brittain-Watts who tallied 20 points total in the game. Junior Deontae Craig and sophomore Trey Galloway added 14 each for the Eagles.
