Boil Water Order issued in Hamlet
HAMLET, Ind. -- Officials of Hamlet, Indiana have issued an Emergency Boil Order which will be effective until noon, January 10th.
According to authorities a water main breakage has caused the need for the order.
Officials say all residents within the town limits should let their water run for several minutes, as well as boiling it for at least five minutes prior to consumption.
Authorities also extend their apologies and anticipate the water system to be fully operational by Sunday even though the order will remain active until Wednesday.
