Gun violence on the decline in South Bend
BENTON HARBOR, Mich. -- Benton Harbor Police were called to the 900 block of Lavette Avenue where there were reports of shots fired this morning.
The Benton Harbor Department of Public Safety says two males were shot and taken to the hospital.
The two men who were shot and later died on the way to Lakeland Hospital.
Police believe Antwan Mims, also known as Tank, was the shooter.
According to police, Mims is believed to be armed and dangerous.
However we were told by neighbors that they heard the shots and they hope this incident is solved because they want to feel safe in their neighborhood
There's up to a $1,000 reward for information leading to the arrest of Mims
