Benton Harbor last day to register to vote

BENTON HARBOR, MI. -- Today is the last day to register in order to be eligible to vote in the General Election. Persons registering after 5 p.m. today, are not eligible to vote in this election.

The general election will be held on Nov. 7, 2017.

The candidates eligible to vote for in this election are the following offices:

--Commissioner at Large (2) - four year terms expiring 12/31/2021

--Commissioner at Large (1) - two year partial term expiring 12/31/2019

--Third Ward Commissioner (1) - four year term expiring 12/31/2021

--Fourth Ward Commissioner (1) - Four year term expiring 12/31/2021

--Voters can also decide the City Income Tax proposal. 

You can register to vote at any Secretary of State Branch office, the County Clerk or City Clerk's Office.

The City Clerk's Office is located at 200 E. Wall St, Benton Harbor and is open 8:30 a.m. - 5 p.m. Monday through Friday.
