A day of chaos in Charlottesville

CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. – The city of Charlottesville underwent crisis and chaos throughout the day.

Saturday afternoon 20-year-old James Alex Fields Jr. ran his car into a group of counter-protesters killing 3 and injuring 35.

ABC confirmed on World News Tonight that three people were also arrested in relation to the rallies.

According to CNN federal authorities have began a civil rights investigation into the incident.

Later Saturday afternoon a helicopter carrying law enforcement officers crash killing Lt. H. Jay Cullen and Trooper-pilot Berke M.M. Bates.
