$50,000 worth of property damage to church, deputies searching for suspects

HOWE, Ind. – Deputies are searching for those responsible for causing an estimated $50,000 worth of property damage to Pretty Prairie United Methodist Church.
The LaGrange County Sheriff’s Department says at approximately 2:30 p.m. Sunday, deputies received a tip regarding a burglary at the church.
An investigation showed that between 9 p.m. Saturday and 6 a.m. Sunday, someone forced their way into the church and damaged furniture, stained glass windows, and equipment with a blunt object.
