CASS COUNTY, Mich. -- Three people were ejected from the vehicle in a crash on Quaker Street Saturday afternoon
At approximately 1:53 p.m., Cass County Deputies were called to a personal injury crash on Quaker Street near Savage Road in Newberg Township.
Elkhart resident Colin Schieber, 20, was traveling in the eastbound lane on Quaker Street when police say he lost control of the vehicle.
The vehicle ran off the roadway and into a ditch, rolling multiple times.
Deputies say, two other passengers, 22-year-old Austin Feldman of Elkhart and 21-year-old Gage Lambdin of Bristol were traveling with Schieber.
All of the occupants were ejected from the vehicle during the crash.
Officials say seatbelts were not worn while speed and alcohol are possible factors in the crash.
Schieber and Feldman were taken to Bronson Hospital.
Lambdin was airlifted to South Bend Memorial Hospital by Medflight.
The extent of their injuries is unknown at this time.
The case remains under investigation.
