1 injured in Cass County motorcycle crash

CASS COUNTY, Mich. – A motorcycle crash resulted in injuries early Saturday morning.

According to Cass County authorities, at approximately 1:20 a.m. 45-year-old motorcyclist Chad Bowman of Union, Michigan was driving northbound on Sunset Boulevard.

Bowman lost control of his motorcycle as he was turning from Sunset Boulevard onto Lake Drive causing the bike to land on its side.

Bowman was transported to Lakeland Hospital for minor injuries.

Officials believe alcohol was not a factor in the crash.

A helmet was not worn.

Porter Ambulance assisted at the scene.
